The house has previously had its internal walls rendered with plaster. Much of this plaster has dampened / dried out, parted company from the walls and come away over the years. All the remaining old plaster will be stripped from the stonework to fully expose the bare stone walls and, during the course of the renovation, some walls will be replastered whilst others will have stonework left exposed and clear sealer used over the bare walls. Attention was paid to the garden in our first site visit and a new retaining wall to the rear will be one of the first tasks to be undertaken. A cursory examination of the wooden lintels revealed most to be in serviceable or good condition, not needing replacement or requiring structural work. Other jobs to be performed essentially remain the same as outlined in the renovation intro
